In this painting I wanted to capture the light and warmth of a Mediterranean Courtyard. I am a big fan of the Zorn Colour Palette so I started with a limited colour palette and very gradually introduced new colours. I love to paint memories and this painting reminded me of happier times when we were all able to travel overseas.
